Filakta (Filakto) made by Monks of Mt. Athos. 

These small embroidered amulets filled with dried flowers used to decorate the kouvouklion (which carries the Epitafios) from the Holy Friday Service.  The filakta is pinned on and worn by babies before Baptism and worn or carried by children and adults as a special blessing.
